A Personal Funeral Ceremony for a close relative or friend can be a very nice way of saying your final farewell. It can be totally non religious or involve a little religion. I will conduct the ceremony in the way you or your loved one would like it to be carried out. You, other family members, friends, or even work colleagues, can take part in the ceremony if you wish. You may even want to conduct the ceremony yourselves, but have somebody like myself standing by to take over in case you come across any problems. This type of ceremony is entirely legal and is completely acceptable to Funeral Directors, Public Crematoria and Cemeteries, who themselves are concerned that you and your family should have the type of ceremony that you want.

I have conducted many types of ceremonies in many, very different places such as Crematoriums, Cemeteries, Working Men's Clubs, Nature Reserves, Woodland Burial Sites, Private Homes and even in one or two Churches with the understanding and kind permission of the Vicar/Minister of the Parish. I have also conducted ceremonies for many people of different beliefs, including lapsed Jews, Catholics, and the Chinese community. I have dealt with all types of death from stillborn babies to those who have reached the grand old age of 104, and from natural death to murder, suicide or those taken accidentally.

When you have decided that this sort of ceremony is what you would like, your Funeral Director will contact me, or else you can contact me direct with your plans, including the date and time of the funeral and where it will be held (Essex or East London areas only). There are many ways in which we can discuss the details for the ceremony - by telephone, email, fax or by a home visit.

If you specifically want me to conduct the service/ceremony for you, (Essex & East London) then please ask the Funeral Director to contact me before any arrangements on day and times are made with the Cemetery/Crematorium because I can get booked up a long way ahead. If I can't help you because I am otherwise engaged I can always recommend someone else.

Information on PFC website can be used worldwide but please be advised that some is specific only to the U.K.
